The Natural High

THE NATURAL HIGH are a three piece male vocal harmony group producing their own Pop/Soul/R&B sounds as well as covering Soul & Motown classics from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. Their live show contains many surprises and the band are a real throwback to the golden days of the vocal supergroups like The Temptations or The Drifters.

This is mainly due to the fact that they spotlight not one or two, but three capable lead singers – sometimes all in the course of the same song ! The main ingredients are all there – a bass/baritone voice, a tenor and a falsetto – all neatly housed in The Natural High’s sound.

Whilst the group cover well known classic songs on stage, they still find that they also appeal to a younger audience. This is demonstrated via their own material which, although having its own unique style, is still very accessible. Their own songs are very well constructed and people are often heard humming or whistling a Natural High tune as they leave a venue, completely unaware of the fact that it is not a well known standard !

The group have many musical influences ranging from The Jackson 5, The Temptations, Quincy Jones, Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross right through to some more surprising choices for a soul outfit such as Lennon/McCartney, Cole Porter and Burt Bacharach.

One thing is for sure though – when you watch this group you’ll be on a Natural High !!!
