Ricky Zalez


Ricky Zalez - Born in Los Angeles California, Ricky found his voice from a very young age. Being brought up with music in his life, he was introduced to wonderful vocalist like, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Big band sounds thanks to his grandmother who had always seen a talent in him. His big break came when he auditioned for his first West End Show "Miss Saigon" at the Drury Lane Theatre. He was given a part in the Ensemble, but soon worked his way to being understudy for the two top leads, Engineer and John. He joined the cast of Miss Saigon in 1995 - 1998 leaving for a short time to join the cast of "Buddy" but rejoined the cast of Miss Saigon until it closed in 1999. His other theatre credits include, "Buddy" The Musical at the Strand Theatre, where he was given the lead of Ritchie Valens. He was in the cast of Buddy for six months. Bernardo in West Side Story, Al in A Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls and Damn Yankees.


After leaving the West End he decided to join the cruise industry again only this time as a Cabaret Vocalist. Ricky has entertained for numerous cruise lines such as P&O, Princess Cruises, Radisson Seven Seas, Costa, and Royal Caribbean.


His new show "The Las Vegas Experience" pays tribute to the "Rat Pack", Rock n Roll, Latin and Salsa, and today's music. Ricky is a high energy vocalist and has pleased audiences around the world both on land and at sea! Now located in Hampshire Ricky is available for any style of event and will bring to you a top class show that will have everyone singing and dancing the whole night through.
