JAKE BLUEZ - A SOLO BLUES BROTHERS TRIBUTE SHOW
Brought to you by Terry Nash, from ITV's Stars in Their Eyes, Jake Bluez delivers a high-energy, authentic tribute to the legendary Blues Brothers.
In this electrifying show, Terry transforms his vocal range, style, power and physical appearance to capture either John Belushi's iconic portrayal of Jake Blues from the original film, The Blues Brothers, or John Goodman's character from the sequel, The Blues Brothers 2000.
The story behind the show began during Terry's Meat Loaf tribute performances.
Noticing how much audiences loved dancing and partying, Terry began experimenting with ways to extend his sets. By introducing a selection of Soul and Blues classics, he discovered that audiences kept dancing, singing and enjoying the atmosphere. This became such a popular feature of his shows that venue managers began asking Terry to create a full Blues Brothers tribute.
With just '106 miles to Chicago', a visit to The Rock Garden in London, and the right combination of darkness and sunglasses, Terry donned the iconic black suit and Trilby. Jake Bluez was born.
Today, the show continues its journey delivering the energy, humour, music and unmistakable spirit of The Blues Brothers to audiences everywhere.
