LISA PRESSNELL became a Professional Singer in 1985 at the young age of 14, securing a summer season at Pontins in her home town of Morecambe Bay with an audience of 1,000. In her 35-year career, she has performed solo, in duos, trios, bands and an orchestra. She has performed most genres of music from pop to blues, jazz to country, musicals to easy listening standards. Lisa has toured the UK in tribute bands to ABBA/1970s and The Corrs. She has written original songs with famous songwriters such as Pete Brown who wrote Cream hits. Her albums are available on all platforms. She was Lead Singer for the QE2 Orchestra on board the Cunard liner, travelling the world. Having been told by audiences across the years how she sounded like Alison Moyet, Lisa responded to an advert by Mr X and 'Femme Fatale 80s synth duo' and 'Yuzoo: a tribute to Alison Moyet & Yazoo' were born in 2017. In addition to these acts, Lisa is also available for her solo singing shows: the 'Patsy Cline Songbook' and the 'Ella Fitzgerald Songbook', as well as writing lyrics and vocal arrangements to Mr X's original songs.

MR X has been consumed by electronic synth music since he first heard Jean-Michel Jarre on a family trip to France at the age of 9. He has since been surrounded by synthesizers! His love of Kraftwerk and Gary Numan have also influenced his work. He spent the last 30 years working in tribute bands to Gary Numan, Genesis, Kylie and two other synth duos. He has also worked backstage with all of the huge 1980s stars. He has written hundreds of original electronic synth pop songs which Lisa Pressnell is now adding lyrics and vocal arrangements to, with their first EP to be released this year. He advertised for his 'Alison Moyet' in 2017 and Lisa Pressnell responded. The duos were formed and have performed in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Once Covid restrictions are lifted, they are supporting 80s stars 'Trans X' internationally.
