Danny Byrne
Danny is a professional full time caricaturist / cartoonist. He has produced social / political cartoons for the Evening Echo, and then went on to become the political cartoonist for the Sunday People. He has also produced, for teaching arts, a range of videos on how to draw cartoonist / caricatures. Danny uses an A4 pad if booked to do 'table to table walk about' during a sitting down part of a function, or uses an A3 pad on an easel sitting in a static location if booked for the part of an evening where your guests are moving around. Each picture takes Danny between 4 - 6 minutes, an average of 5 minutes per picture. Danny now specialises in producing quick on-the-spot caricatures.
This type of caricaturing has become extremely popular in the entertainment / corporate industry, each caricature is a personalised memento of the customer's day out.
